But not during his first at bat during his July 7th game against the Baltimore Orioles:

Ken Griffey Jr. had said he was going to honor Michael Jackson, and he did so by wearing a single white glove on his right hand.

Griffey normally wears two gloves – both dark blue.

Fortunately for Griffey, he reached base on a walk while making his tribute.
