Michael Jackson pinups are mini-posters typically found in the middle of magazines.

A common example is a teen magazine featuring the Jackson 5, or Michel Jackson. In the middle of the magazine is a poster that can be pulled-out, ripped-out, or unstabled, and then hung on a wall.

This of course means the poster will have a crease down the middle. But not always. Some pinup posters are on regular sized paper, or whatever the page size of the magazine was, and thus did not need to be folded. Just pulled out.
